RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM
Diakonia, Inc. provides residential therapeutic treatment services for adolescents in need of specialized care in a secure, and structured environment. Our comprehensive program operates on a behavioral level system led by therapeutic clinical services at the foundation. As residents participate in the program, they are able to earn increased privileges, and assume higher levels of responsibility commensurate with their progress towards targeted behavior, and treatment goals.
CLINICAL PROGRAM
With thorough support, therapy, and clinical services provided by our licensed clinical professionals, Diakonia, Inc. aspires to enhance the resident’s self-worth, and confidence in themselves, and their future. We do this by providing a living environment that is conducive for them to achieve their treatment goals. Each resident is required to participate in individual, and group therapy weekly, along with clinical support services, as needed based on their specific Needs & Services plan, and treatment goals.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
After admission into the program, an assessment is made of the adolescent’s educational status and recommended educational setting. Our admissions coordinator works with the respective school districts to make arrangements for the educational placement best suited to satisfy the resident’s specialized Educational Plan (EP).
